## Who is this service for?

Our service is for businesses. You can send us your request if:

 * You are a company, in Turkey or abroad, that wants to buy products from Turkey.
 * You are researching which suppliers in Turkey you could talk to about your product.
 * You want to plan purchasing, export paperwork and shipment steps together.
 * You are looking for textile or apparel products.

## What do we coordinate?

We support the following steps of the sourcing process.

01

### Product and supplier matching

Based on your product description, estimated quantity and delivery country, we assess
possible suppliers in Turkey and share the ones that look suitable with you.

02

### Purchasing intermediation

We coordinate and follow up on the exchange of quotes, product specifications and
order details between the buyer and the supplier. The decision to buy and the acceptance
of commercial terms are yours.

03

### Export preparation

We coordinate packaging and documentation for the export of the purchased goods
with the relevant parties. Customs procedures are carried out by parties authorized
for that purpose.

04

### Handover to shipment

When the goods are ready, we coordinate their handover to the transport process.
Depending on cargo volume, we assess the following options: full truckload (FTL)
or less than truckload (LTL) by road, and full container load (FCL) or less than
container load (LCL) by sea. Details on road, air and sea transport are on the [International Transport Coordination](https://harbiteksgroup.com/en/international-transport-coordination/)
page.

## Textile and apparel requests

We also consider requests for textile and apparel products. We are based in Merter,
Istanbul, and we coordinate requests in this area with suppliers and other relevant
parties.

It helps us understand your request clearly if you state the product type, fabric
or model details, your packaging preference, your delivery country and the planned
timeline. If you have images or a technical description, you can send them after
submitting your request.

## Who handles which step?

| Party | Role |
| You (the buyer) | Define the product need, quantity and delivery expectations; make the purchase decision by approving the quote and terms. |
| Harbiteks | Clarifies the request; coordinates the flow of information and documents with the supplier and other relevant parties; keeps you informed throughout. |
| Supplier | Provides the quote and the product information. |
| Carriers, business partners and authorized parties | Carry out the transport and the steps that require authorization, such as customs procedures. |

The way of working, the scope and the responsibilities are set out in writing at
the quote stage.

## How we work

**Need and fit.**We receive your request and clarify the product, estimated quantity,
delivery country and timeline with you. Together we assess whether your request
fits our scope.

**Scope and quote.**We send you the scope of work and the quote in writing. The
quote is prepared based on the product, quantity, delivery country and the information
received from suppliers.

**Your approval.**We proceed once you approve the scope and terms. The decision
to buy is yours.

**Coordination with the relevant parties.**We coordinate the flow of information
and documents with the supplier, carriers and authorized parties.

**Updates and delivery coordination.**We keep you informed throughout and coordinate
the delivery steps.

## Other product groups and requests outside Turkey

We also consider requests for product groups other than textile and apparel. The
scope depends on the product; some products may require special permits or be subject
to regulations, and may fall outside our scope.

Our main focus is Turkey. Requests to source from countries other than Turkey are
assessed separately, depending on the product, the country and the scope. We review
your request and get in touch with you.

## What information helps with a quote?

For a first request, your product and your delivery country are enough. If the quantity
is not decided yet, you can select “Not decided yet”. The details below make it
easier to clarify the quote; we complete anything missing together with you in our
discussion.

 * Product name, short description and intended use
 * Estimated quantity
 * Delivery country and, if known, the city or port
 * Planned timeline
 * Preferred delivery term, if you have one, expressed as Incoterms: standard three-
letter trade terms that set out the delivery conditions in international sales
contracts (for example EXW, Ex Works; FOB, Free On Board)
 * If known, the product’s GTİP number (Gümrük Tarife İstatistik Pozisyonu), the
12-digit code that classifies a product in Turkey’s customs tariff, or its HS(
   Harmonized System) code

## Documents and compliance requirements vary by product

Export requirements and requirements in the destination country depend on the product,
the product’s GTİP and the destination country; the same documents or compliance
conditions do not apply to every shipment. Some products may need additional registration,
a certificate of conformity or a permit. For current information, please refer to
official sources and to an authorized expert (for example, a customs broker). We
coordinate the flow of information and documents with the relevant parties.

## Frequently asked questions

Does submitting the request form mean I have received a commercial quote?

No. Receiving your request does not mean a commercial quote has been given. A quote
is prepared separately, based on the product, quantity, delivery country and the
information received from suppliers.

How are price, quality and payment terms determined?

Product specifications, quality expectations, price and payment terms are set out
in writing between the parties concerned. The information on this page contains
no commitment on price, timing, quality or payment. We recommend stating your expectations
clearly in your request.

Do you carry out customs procedures?

Customs procedures are carried out by parties authorized for that purpose. We coordinate
the flow of information and documents with the relevant parties.

Do you also carry out the shipment?

Transport is carried out by carriers and business partners. We coordinate the planning
and the flow of information. For the options, see the [International Transport Coordination](https://harbiteksgroup.com/en/international-transport-coordination/)
page.
