Harbiteks is a company based in Merter, Istanbul, that coordinates product sourcing and foreign trade. Together with you, we review your product requirement, the points of origin and destination, and your planned timeline, and we support the coordination of sourcing, foreign trade and shipping steps.
A short history
Harbiteks was founded in 2013. We are based in the Merter district of Istanbul.
Our core business is export, import, product sourcing and commercial intermediation. Coordination of transport and customs procedures is offered as a service that supports this work.
What we do
We help companies plan their work and coordinate it with the relevant parties, whether they want to source products from Turkey, export or import goods, or have cargo transported. Our services fall into three groups.
Product Sourcing and Purchasing Intermediation
We review sourcing options for your product requirement and coordinate between buyer and seller on commercial matters. The commercial decision is yours: what to buy, from whom and on what terms.
Export, Import and Operations Coordination
We coordinate the work steps, and the flow of documents and information, with the relevant parties in your export and import process.
International Transport Coordination
We review road, air and sea options against your cargo, route and timeline, and coordinate with carriers.

Our role and business partners
Our role is coordination. Defining from the start who carries out which step of a job makes the work clearer for you and for us.
- Understanding your requirement, the points of origin and destination and the timeline, and clarifying the information needed for a quote
- Supporting the planning of sourcing, foreign trade and shipping steps
- Coordinating the flow of information and documents with carriers, suppliers and other relevant parties
- Keeping you informed at key steps of the process
- Transport: carriers and freight companies
- Customs declarations and other procedures that require authorization: customs brokers who hold that authorization, and the relevant authorities
- Production and sale of the product: supplier companies
- Certification and conformity procedures: the relevant certification bodies and authorized authorities
For each request, which party carries out which step is clarified at the quote stage, based on your request.
How we work
These steps are not a commitment on price, timing or delivery. Cost and timing vary with the product, the route, regulations and the terms of the parties involved. Sending us a request does not mean that a quote will be issued.
Our aim and working principles
Our aim is to help our customers run their sourcing from Turkey and their foreign trade in a clearer, better-planned way.
- Clear scope. We tell you at the outset what we support in a job and which steps other parties carry out.
- Accurate information. We do not present uncertain information as certain. Regulations and document requirements vary by product and country, and the opinion of an authorized specialist may be needed on these matters.
- Realistic expectations. We do not give guarantees or firm promises on price, timing or outcome. These depend on the product, the route and the terms of the parties involved, and a quote is prepared on that basis.
- Plain communication. We explain technical terms and try to answer your questions clearly.
